Steak burst out of the smoky, underground bars of London to shake up Europe’s stoner-rock scene — a four-piece built on gritty grooves, fuzz-laden riffs and raw, unapologetic energy. Since their formation around 2010, they’ve become known for heavy, riff-driven tracks that hit like a sledgehammer and songs that ride the line between desert rock, fuzz and hard blues-rock. With each album, from the gritty debut to their latest: Acute Mania (2022), they’ve pushed their sound further — darker, denser, and more atmospheric.
