ROTOR formed in 1998 in Berlin, Germany, and have made a name for themselves with their purely instrumental take on stoner / psychedelic / kraut / prog-tinged rock.
They skip vocals altogether, letting heavy riffs, hypnotic grooves and tight compositions speak for themselves — sometimes spacious and trippy, sometimes raw and driving, but always focused and purposeful. Over the years, they’ve developed a distinct sound that blends weighty riff-work with subtle experimental touches and rhythm-shifts.
