Causa Sui consists of Jakob Skøtt, Jonas Munk, Rasmus Rasmussen and Jess Kahr and has been releasing albums since 2005. With their Summer Sessions trilogy, the band shifted from the heavy psych of their early years toward more abstract, instrumental soundscapes influenced as much by electric Miles Davis and Can as by American stoner rock. Their sound has often been described as a giant wave rolling through the last five decades of rock music – fluid, expansive and endlessly immersive.
